JON HOUGHTON
"I take inspiration from what’s around me everyday. Whatever moves or amuses me. I don’t take painting lightly but I don’t like to take it too seriously either. Many of my paintings are moments taken from driving to and from the studio, skiing the escarpment and swimming in Georgian Bay. Combining that with yearly painting adventures around the Country, I’ve got an ever-growing supply of images and ideas I’m excited to paint."
