You ever wonder why the gallery highlights artists beyond the Hamilton arts community?
Earls Court Gallery loves bringing in artists from outside our arts community. It rewards the out-of-town artist with access to new audience and expands their network. By showcasing new artists, the work inspires our local artists. Visiting artists also gives art enthusiast the opportunity to travel a short distance to the gallery to witness new artistic voices.
Do you want to keep these artistic voices going?
Collecting art is more than just about having something nice to have in your home, but it is a direct line to telling the artists: “You have an artistic voice worth hearing and I want to keep going so I can see more!”
Next time you are in any gallery space and think, “The artist isn’t local” consider that it was scary for the artist to leave their own community to share their artistic practice with you; you are sure to leave inspired and maybe a new collector!
