Artist Bio

Bernard Brussel-Smith was born in New York City. He studied at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts and the New School for Social Research. He taught art at the Brooklyn Museum, Cooper Union, City College, and the National Academy. Brussel-Smith was well known for his wood engravings.
